Good morning!

We are in middle February, the best time to make plans for this spring and summer.

Change your style, look and wardrobe, learn something new, try new aromas and colors.
Evaflor comes to you, as always, with some useful what-to-think-about advice.

First of all: traveling. The best way ever of investing your money.
How many capitals have you seen? It’s time to count and to fulfill the traveler’s diary.

So, you are on the place.

You are totally amazed by the beauty that surrounds you, by new people, food, language…

What are you doing? Sending some sms to you friends to share your impressions. Nice… But!

There’s something much better. When was the last time you wrote a letter? Written words transmit much more energy of adventures then a text message!

You make pictures near every monument and interesting building. Good, it’s important to “save” the memories.

But! What for do you need 150 equal pictures?

Imagine that you’re a real model, just for one day! Don’t feel ashamed and show everyone how can you pose! Start trying right now.

But just a nice pose is not enough. Forget about comfortable clothes for your trip.

Choose original ones! For each city something special!

And, of course...take with you a new aroma. It will always remind you about your amazing trip.

Bon voyage!

Today we just want to ask you not to forget that this world is full of small happiness.

Second Hemingways.

You know that EvaFlor supports all your initiatives .

Paris is famous for its cafes and writers who came here from all over the world to create.

If you want to feel the spirit of Parisian art work and spend some hours thinking, dreaming of composing in some Parisian café, here goes the list that Evaflor has prepared for you!
Terrasse des Archives—This café’s cozy closed-off terrace makes a lovely place to write “outdoors” even in winter. 51, rue des Archives, 3ème.
Café de l’Institut—Big, sunny, and right near the Seine, this is the perfect spot to spread out and work through the morning at a sunlit table. 1, rue des Fossés-Saint-Bernard, 5ème.
Le Contrescarpe—Settle in amidst the bookshelves in this library-esque café on the charming Place de la Contrescarpe. 57, rue Lacepède, 5ème.
Café Delmas—Another nice spot on the Place de la Contrescarpe, and the backroom is the perfect place to curl up on a winter afternoon. 2, Place de la Contrescarpe, 5ème.
Le Buci — For a healthy mix of working and people-watching, hit up Le Buci in the heart of bustling St. Germain, Paris’ historic intellectual epicenter. If you can’t get inspired to write, well, at least you’ll be inspired to sit around looking chic. 1 rue Dauphine, 6ème.

Chez Félicie—Way down in the 14th, this is the coziest spot to order up a coffee (and tartine) and write away the morning. It fills up around lunchtime, so you may want to seek out a quieter spot for the afternoon. 174 Avenue du Maine, 14ème.

Le Sancerre—The perfect Montmartre neighborhood café, located right on the bustling Rue des Abbesses. 35, rue des Abbesses, 18ème.

Good luck and good inspiration!

After a "healthy food" post - a bit of raclette for you!

French Kitchen! One of the best and the most wellknown of the world...Have you ever tried the Raclette?

What is Raclette?

Cheese and plenty of it...

The name "raclette" (pronounced ruck-lett in English or rah-klett in its native French) refers to a meal and to a type of cheese with the same name. The traditional dish can be described as melted cheese eaten with boiled (or roasted) potatoes with small gherkins and pickled onions.

While the method of melting the cheese has changed over time, the Raclette meal is quite easy to prepare using the simplest of ingredients and has been a long favourite for festive and fun interactive evenings.

With the tradition originating in Switzerland, Raclette, the meal, is one of Switzerland's best loved national dishes and is very popular in other parts of Europe such as France and Germany. The most famous and best Raclette cheese is made in the alpine villages in the Swiss Alps which has a very distinct flavour and excellent melting qualities as well as being the main ingredient that makes the dish.

Origin

Somewhere hidden in the valleys of the Swiss Alps...

Raclette cheese originated in the French speaking areas in the Alpine regions of the Valais canton in Switzerland. While the process of melting cheese has been around since ancient times, according to legends - local farmers or herdsmen in the valleys of the Swiss Alps set up camp for the night and the cheese that was laying around on stones at meal time, melted near the open fire and some farmer scraped it off the rock (not wanting to waste any of it of course), he then tasted it and thought it tasted divine. The idea quickly caught on amongst the group and this novel idea quickly spread throughout the valley and so the cheese became well known as the most ideal to melt. Other ingredients would accompany the meal like gherkins (pickled cucumber) and small onions and to drink; kirsch (cherry liqueur), herbal tea or Fendant (local white wine).

It was a filling meal and enjoyed for its great simplicity and heartiness. The concept was simple and the melting of the raclette cheese was to become a popular way to eat it. It was comfort food at its best and the tradition eventually spread to other countries beyond the Alps from visitors travelling from afar to enjoy the famous ski resorts in the Valais region.

But...it's better to taste it once then to read about it twice. So?...

The information is partly taken from the site http://www.raclette.com.au/
